Designed by OUD+Architects, the Exfis Llapushnik Petrol Station is the flagship location of the Exfis network, conceived as a benchmark for the company’s architectural identity, service quality, and user experience.
Positioned directly alongside the Dr. Ibrahim Rugova Highway, the principal national route connecting Kosovo and Albania, the station occupies a highly visible and strategic site along one of the country’s most important infrastructural corridors. Its location ensures seamless access for long-distance travelers, daily commuters, and local users, establishing the station as a key stop along the route.
The architectural concept is defined by clarity, efficiency, and contemporary expression. A distinctive canopy structure creates a strong visual presence along the highway while providing generous covered areas for fueling and circulation. Carefully integrated lighting enhances safety and visibility, reinforcing the station’s role as a recognizable landmark both day and night.
In addition to fueling services, the flagship station incorporates a market and a restaurant, transforming the site into a multifunctional roadside destination. These amenities are seamlessly integrated into the overall layout, offering high-quality food, retail, and comfortable spaces for rest and social interaction.
As the flagship petrol station for Exfis, the project represents a shift from conventional fuel station typologies toward a more integrated and service-oriented model. It reflects the company’s commitment to innovation, reliability, and customer-focused design, positioning Exfis as a contemporary and forward-looking presence along Kosovo’s key national routes.
